figures are empirical and from a small sample, not all units will be exactly
the same, a variation of approximately 20% was observed. The staring
current was about 80-120mA and slowly (hours) increased to about 200-300mA,
The unit was measured without a heat sink (free-standing) if the unit
is attached to a case as intended it will take much longer to reach working
temperature as the heat is dissipated by the case, Slow heating is the
intention of the device intending not to cause condensation that
would occur if heated rapidly.
