Note: This lens is designed to add extra wide angle OR Telephoto at the further extents
of the
camera zoom range, not necessarily the whole zoom range. With all lenses of this type there
will be a certain point in the 'closer end of range' where vignetting1 will occur. This can
occur with ANY extension lens but is most likely where Step-Down rings are used. The best way of avoiding Vignetting is to Step UP to
a larger lens, but the only sure way is to try the lens in question with your camera as it is not really possible to calculate without
manufacturers details of all the lens elements and image size.
1. Vignetting:- a cutting off of the edges of the photo that shows
up as black: corners. The closer the size of the size down ring is to the lens, the less the effects will be. In some cases there
may be no effects due to the camera's objective lens size verses the filter size it uses. The effect will also vary on zoom lenses
with the zoom ratio.
